David Parker is a strategic marketing communications professional with over 20 years of experience helping companies in sectors as diverse as software and high tech to manufacturing and transportation achieve their marketing goals and build their brand.
In recent years, David’s focus has been working with B2B companies, primarily growth-phase software companies. These companies have the need but not necessarily the budget or manpower to strategize and implement a focused marketing communications program. Through Davron Marketing, David partners with these companies, providing expert marketing support on an as-needed basis and essentially becoming their outsourced marketing department.
Prior to launching Davron Marketing in 1996, David worked with local, national and international clients at two Vancouver advertising agencies – MacLaren McCann and FCB Canada.
David was also the owner of Camosun Sound – a recording studio in Vancouver – that recorded many local artists including David Lum, Babe Gurr and Trevor Rogers of the Clumsy Lovers.
David served on the board of directors for the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association for three years – two of which the Association won “Chapter of the Year”. He is also recognized by the Institute of Communication Agencies as an Accredited Professional.
